The CS Comparer

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Chess Suite’s “PGN Comparer” and “Result Viewer,” this software will be made available for free on July 1, 2026, under the name “CS Comparer.”

See this documentation for a presentation of the features. However, using UCI engines is not included.

Before you can use the program you have to accept the following (also shown at the first start):

   The CS Comparer is copyrighted. Decompiling is forbidden.
   This software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Use is entirely at your own risk.

The "CS Comparer" is Java Software, so it runs on Window, Linux and macOS.

1. Install a JDK 26 or higher on your operating system.

2. Download the CS Comparer from my DropBox archive here. If the JDK is installed properly, you can start the CS Comparer by double-clicking. If it starts, you are done. Congratulations.

3. If you face some problems read the hints here.
