I would like to thank everyone whose work I was able to use without any special restrictions. Here are the details.
The Chess Suite contains modified code of chesspresso™ (version unclear), a chess library originally written by Bernhard Seybold and published 2003 under the LGPL, version 2.1.
The Chess Suite comes with two build-in fonts, named CS Chess Cases Unicode and CS Chess Merida Unicode, which I derived from the freeware fonts Chess Cases by
Matthieu Leschemelle and Chess Mérida by Armando H. Marroquin (see here and here for
example).
The background image of the current start dialog shows a part of a free picture by Émile Séguin, which was downloaded from http://www.unsplash.com. A previous image was part of a picture by Kupono Kuwamura.
All external icons are under free licenses and were downloaded from http://www.fatcow.com/free-icons, http://led24.de/iconset/, http://www.softicons.com, www.small-icons.com and www.iconfinder.com, respectively. The database icon was made by Madebyoliver from flaticon.com, and the export and the experimental icons are due to Freepik also from flaticon.com. Some of the icons were created or modified by the myself.

Very special thanks to Hagen St. for continuing tests and feedback. The responsibility for all mistakes lies of course with the author.

And of course a big thanks goes to Jimdo for hosting this web page for free.
